It's here and there's nothing you or I can do about it. Another new
year to face, whatever may come our way. Lives of certain people will
be torn to shreds, while others will face enormous fame, fortune and
happiness. I am holding my breath over certain situations around our
world and the nation in which I live. America, is not like by many
other nations, and it's a scary situation, to live in a country that
terrorists are trying to destroy. I hope we can hold on and keep the
faith. The government needs a lot of help as well, so I've got my hopes
strong for a turn around in the way things are being handled.

It Snowed
We lost power 3 times, but it didn't stay off long, which was a plus. I have tropical fish and they need oxygen to live. I also don't want to loose the food I have in the freezer.
Today, me and the cat are just trying to stay warm. She doesn't understand why she can't go outside? So, I put her out there for a couple of minutes, so she could find out for herself. Right now she is up under the heat of the heater, trying to stay warm.

No Santa?
I
remember my first Christmas adventure with Grandma. I was just a kid.
I remember tearing across town on my bike to visit her on the day my
big sister dropped the bomb: "There is no Santa Claus," she jeered.
"Even dummies know that!"
My
Grandma was not the gushy kind, never had been. I fled to her that day
because I knew she would be straight with me. I knew Grandma always
told the truth, and I knew that the truth always went down a whole lot
easier when swallowed with one of her "world-famous" cinnamon buns. I
knew they were world-famous, because Grandma said so. It had to be true.
Grandma was home, and the buns were still warm. Between bites, I told her everything. She was ready for me. "No Santa Claus?" she snorted...."Ridiculous! Don't believe it. That rumor has been going around for years, and it makes me mad, plain mad!! Now, put on your coat, and let's go."
"Go? Go where, Grandma?" I asked. I hadn't even finished my second world-famous cinnamon bun. "Where" turned out to be Kerby's General Store, the one store in town that had a little bit of just about everything. As we walked through its doors, Grandma handed me ten dollars. That was a bundle in those days. "Take this money," she said "and buy something for someone who needs it. I'll wait for you in the car." Then she turned and walked out of Kerby's.
I was only eight years old. I'd often gone shopping with my mother, but never had I shopped for anything all by myself. The store seemed big and crowded, full of people scrambling to finish their Christmas shopping.
For a few moments I just stood there, confused, clutching that ten-dollar bill, wondering what to buy, and who on earth to buy it for.
I thought of everybody I knew: my family, my friends, my neighbors, the kids at school, the people who went to my church.
I was just about thought out, when I suddenly thought of Bobby Decker. He was a kid with bad breath and messy hair, and he sat right behind me in Mrs. Pollock's grade-two class. Bobby Decker didn't have a coat. I knew that because he never went out to recess during the winter. His mother always wrote a note, telling the teacher that he had a cough, but all we kids knew that Bobby Decker didn't have a cough; he didn't have a good coat. I fingered the ten-dollar bill with growing excitement. I would buy Bobby Decker a coat!

I settled on a red corduroy one that had a hood to it. It looked real warm, and he would like that.
"Is
this a Christmas present for someone?" the lady behind the counter
asked kindly, as I laid my ten dollars down. "Yes, ma'am," I replied
shyly. "It's for Bobby."
The nice lady smiled at me, as I told her about how Bobby really needed a good winter coat. I didn't get any change, but she put the coat in a bag, smiled again, and wished me a Merry Christmas.
That evening, Grandma helped me wrap the coat (a little tag fell out of the coat, and Grandma tucked it in her Bible) in Christmas paper and ribbons and wrote, "To Bobby, From Santa Claus" on it.

Grandma
said that Santa always insisted on secrecy. Then she drove me over to
Bobby Decker's house, explaining as we went that I was now and forever
officially, one of Santa's helpers.
Grandma
parked down the street from Bobby's house, and she and I crept
noiselessly and hid in the bushes by his front walk. Then Grandma gave
me a nudge. "All right, Santa Claus," she whispered, "get going."I took a deep breath, dashed for his front door, threw the present down on his step, pounded his door and flew back to the safety of the bushes and Grandma.
Together we waited breathlessly in the darkness for the front door to open. Finally it did, and there stood Bobby.
Fifty years haven't dimmed the thrill of those moments spent shivering, beside my Grandma, in Bobby Decker's bushes. That night, I realized that those awful rumors about Santa Claus were just what Grandma said they were -- ridiculous. Santa was alive and well, and we were on his team.
I still have the Bible, with the coat tag tucked inside: $19.95.

Security Plan?
I wonder how the Security Plan, at the school, failed? In light of the recent attack at this school, it makes me question how this could happen? The control of the implemented plan, must have been lax, because the shooter forced his way in. I can't see how the person handling the monitor, wasn't able to use discretion allowing this person in the door? It's just my question and it makes me try to understand?

Beauty
It's a new world and with it comes all types of equipment needed in this modern life. Beauty tops one of the lists when you are making the scene. Having the convenience of a rolling makeup case with lights can be very handy when you are on the run. There never seems to be enough time in the day to get everything done. This just helps you mingle some of the tasks.
Cowboy's Win
The team has managed to pull another last minute win out of their helmets. They played this game with the sadness of loosing a team mate to a car accident. The driver was also a team mate, which gave even further sadness to the situation. Yet, they used the game to focus and down to the last few seconds made a field goal to win by one point. Condolences to our team and the future they face. Also we send up prayers for all involved.

It's Cold
You know that when cold weather sets in, you can still enjoy your swimming pool. Yes, it's true and all you have to do is install a raypak pool heater to take care of the cold water. Many people either cover their pools for the winter or drain them. I think you would love to enjoy it year round and have your money's worth, while doing it.
Kate at Home
Britian has a new heir on the horizon and the mom is having "morning sickness", which comes the first few months into a pregnancy. She spent a few days in the hospital and is now home resting and building her strength. I'm sure the doctor's have instructed her to gain weight, considering the fact that she is 5'10" and weighs only 95 lbs. Congrats to the Royal Family and we look forward to the coming new heir. Oh no, not twins........lol

KC Mourning
Sadness for Kansas City Royals today as one of their team ends his life. Much of the information is still being sorted out about what happened. Breaking news gives a report about Linebacker Jovan Belcher, 25, who shot a woman, then went to a team facility and committed suicide. Reports have it that the woman involved was his girlfriend.
The Royal's are scheduled to play the Carolina Panther's on Sunday. The Carolina Panther team has been told to report to the plane to make the trip to their game to be played tomorrow.

Begins
The time to get your Christmas shopping done has begun. Black Friday has come and gone and now it's Cyber Monday. Amazon, has given me their sales offers, not to mention a few other websites which I've visited before. So, the holiday season has arrived with a successful "Thanksgiving" under our belts. Now, we look toward the holiday's left in this year to celebrate. All I can say is the expense and the food is killing me.

Data
I have a good friend who swears by having his medical information saved on a flash drive which he carries with him when he leaves the house. It's right there in his pocket for emergency purposes. He has scanned and downloaded all of his medical records on 2 flash drives so it's with him at all times. If a medical team wants to know anything about his surgeries or health problems, they can access it quickly.

joking. It's become an epidemic, lately..........and I don't like the

Believe
Many things come to mind, as I write this post. Mostly I find the
reasons, come from within. Finding reasons to believe, are very hard to
do, when you are so wrapped up in other feelings and locations of
emotions. You may ask, what are we believing in on this subject or that?
Well, it may be yourself, your mom, dad, sibling, a friend, mentor or
great leader. Things that help us believe, come from the heart,
inspiration, or just a incident that happened, waiting for us to see it.
Believing in something gives us a reason to live our life daily, in the
manner, we need to feel comfortable. If we believe, then there is a
strength to carry us through any occurrence, we may come in contact with. To believe, is to have a reason or a value in which, to live and have hope of the future.

A Good Time
During the holiday's you will find family, friends, good food and traditions. The women get off into their busy "to do's" and the men go to the parlor to swap stories, have a drink or good smoke. You know it's best to buy from a good shop that offers blends. You can find partagas by clicking on the link in this post.
Thanksgiving
In a few days, many of us will gather around the kitchen table for a fine feast of turkey & dressing with all the trimmings. It will be a time for families, to get together and give thanks for being together one more year. There are families, who won't be able to be together, because of thing or another, but their hearts, minds and souls will be there with those they love and care about.

Another Storm
There is another storm brewing getting ready to come on shore along the east coast. I say that it won't be as harsh as the last storm but warnings are being issued for certain areas. They say that rain along with wind will be there around Thursday of this week. This will compound the already devastated population hard hit by "Sandy" last week. Forty mile per hour winds with rain are forecast to arrive and in some areas it may be frozen because of the temperatures. I hope that somehow these people will be able to stay warm and out of harms way.

Clean Up Begins
Just as you would expect, the people who have recently suffered loss from the storm are already adjusting and trying to move forward. The clean up will be a long hard time for everyone in those areas. America, has a large job to help the populations in each state which has no power or resources to get started. The debris will be phenomenal and where to begin will mostly depend on each entity. At present the removal of the water and drying out is up front.
Sandy
The last few days have been horrible to watch with the nation's eyes upon the east coast. Hurricane Sandy connected with a cold front coming down from the north and made a disaster happen. It's considered the "perfect storm" if you can call a storm that. Perfection is not what I would call this and it's considered to be one that will be in the record books.
People have lost their homes and properties to this thing and it's going to be a long haul to get things livable again. New York is once again feeling the onslaught of a humongous disaster. Ground Zero held tremendous amounts of water as the ocean surged. Wide spread flooding could be seen across many states as this storm passed over. Our hearts go out to the many people who are without provisions as well as power. The coming days will take it's toll on their lives and cause much needed strength to survive.

Rescue
As you see in this video the Coast Guard are rescuing some people from a floating raft during hurricane "Sandy".
Sandy Hits Coast
All eyes are on the east coast as hurricane "Sandy" comes ashore. I am trying to keep in contact with my oldest son and his family who are in the middle of this. They opted to stay in their home and ride it out. I'm sure they wish that they had gone further inland by now. The winds are supposed to be gusting to 70 mph during it's onslaught. The rains will be so heavy that flooding is already happening. This leaves large trees a danger to being blown over and fall on anything in it's path. It is predicted that this is a slow moving storm which will unleash large lashing torrents of waves along the beach areas. New York is all but shut down because of heavy flooding. Air ports are no long having flights and the other one's around the world are diverting flights to other areas, for safety.
Prayers are being said for the one's who opted to stay and ride this thing out. As we speak, we are keeping a close eye on the news and hoping contact doesn't go out with the cell phones.

Heavy Coat
I bought a Carhartt coat for one of my sons last year. He lives in Wyoming and it gets really cold there during the winter. Carhartt Jackets & Coats are known for their comfort, fit, and durable fabrics. Premier fabrics, along with heavy-duty zippers and triple-stitched seams, make Carhartt the premier outerwear choice. You can see the wide selection of items when you visit the Carhartt jackets from dungarees.net link found in this post.

Old Tree
I have this huge old tree that is in the very front of my house. I notice that the yard crew who take care of the yard across the street always have to stop in front of my house to unload their equipment. I don't like them stopping in front of my yard, but it's a public street. Therefore I have to listen to all their loud noises, when they crank up their lawnmowers, and leaf blowers.
Today, I noticed one of the workers looking at my old tree and making comments about it. Then he saluted it, as if to say, wow you've been around a long time.

Coffee?
They say there's a link to vision loss in drinking coffee. Here is a medical research that has come many years too late for us "baby boomers". I've been drinking coffee most of my life, starting with childhood. This was the "wake me up" my grandmother used to get me going in the mornings. I always had a cup of hot coffee when getting up and getting ready for school. It helped get me motivated and pulled the cobwebs out of my brain.
As an adult it's been my companion most every morning to do the same thing. Waking up is not my specialty, since I am not a big morning person. I sit around for several hours in a daze, until finally something peaks my interest enough to get me going. Coffee, is the only thing that has helped in all these years. Now, they say it's linked to my eyes becoming blurred from cataracts or other problems. I can't win, because since you can't get out of this world alive, what are they trying to do? Take all the fun and enjoyment out of life? Boo to you scientists.

Cold
It finally made it to Texas. Yes, the cold front that was up in the central part of the states, finally made it down here. It's cold and now I find that digging out the sweaters, jeans and socks very important. Oh, don't forget the blankets either. Yes, the dog days of summer have gone and now we must get ready for the winter months and all they bring. The new caster said that the temperatures we are experiencing would actually be relevant to those we have in January. This morning I got up to lower 50's and believe me I found my warm house coat and shoes real quick.

Scrubs
You find most health care personnel wearing coordinated apparel when working. The nurse's who work on certain floors of a hospital, will have a color to designate their location positions. It's only natural to see the baby phat scrub tops in a children's hospital unit. I noticed that these scrub tops are made for comfort, flexibility and convenience. To get information about these scrub tops, click on the link in this post.

3 Andy's
In 2012 America lost 3 Andy's and they were prominent popular personalities. Andy Rooney, was a very well known CBS newscaster, Andy Griffith a great wholesome television personality and now Andy Williams who crooned his way to stardom singing "Moon River".
It's not the only great people we have lost this year, but these all had the name of Andy, our heartfelt condolences go out to all family, friends and coworkers involved in their lives.

Military
I am the mother of 5 children and only one made it through highschool, went to college and entered the military. Not a very good track record for me at all. The other 4 children never finished highschool and that's too bad. Now they see the error of their ways, but what can you say to them? I told you so? It's just too bad that kids don't have the sense to listen to their parents instead of their piers.
Church
I've seen the inside of many churches in my life time. You wouldn't know it from the way I act these days. Actually, I was there weekly on regular service days for most of my childhood. You get accustomed to the furniture and that dreaded altar. Today, you can find nicer pews because of the world updating things. When the clergy shop for Church furniture I suppose they try and include comfort in their agenda? As a child, I found those pews to get rather hard after and hour of sitting on them.
Cowboy's
The Dallas Cowboy's have gotten off to a rough start this season. I'm not a sports person, so I can't really put out any ideal information to you about how they are performing. I just watch to games and cheer for them when their doing well. I get let down and sad when they loose. It's part of the Texas pride that does this to me. I'm not alone in having this pride, and most Texas want the Cowboy's to do well. So, we can only hope that they will pick up the stamina and do what's needed to win the rest of their season games. Looking toward the Super Bowl is a possibility, this year.

Hearing
My step-dad and my mom got hearing aides when they went into the nursing home. He wears his, but she won't even consider putting it on. There's always some excuse for what she does or doesn't do. I'm not sure where their hearing aides came from but I know that you can get plenty of good information, at HearingAidsElite.com hearing aid specialists. They can tell you what is best for your prescription.

Photos of Kate
Looking at the proper and improper way of doing things is a way of life with the royal couple. They are young and wish to have some sort of private life, I'm sure. You wonder how this will ever happen considering the nature of their famous lives? Kate and William are royal subjects and expected to carry on as such. The Queen can assume that proper training has been accomplished for the youngsters, but you know how kids can be.
I hope that the royal pair can be given a small part of their lives to enjoy while they are still young. The news media needs to let them live to be old like the Queen. One day it may be that William will be King and that would be a nice thing.

America?
Wild Bill sure tells it like it is and we are in actuality doing the very thing he is talking about. How can we be so stupid?
That Video
I must say the one thing that irks anyone is when they see something on video or film that doesn't sit right with their ideas or beliefs. I don't think riots or uprisings are the answer to finding something offensive. The other world cultures are somewhat different to ours and I can see where they would use this as a means to start riots and eventually possible war.
I watched what the internet has offered as the video in question. Yes, it is offensive to me and I would consider it vulgar as well. When you consider all the "R" rated movies and films which our world has spawned, then this small clip of a video is mediocre in comparison. I can't see killing, burning and doing such violence as being recompense for this video. Once again, I will admit that I am an American, and only one pebble of sand on the beach. Holding a whole nation accountable for one person's actions isn't feasible. Yet, this is exactly what we are seeing. I am so glad that I wasn't born or raised in that culture. How do they have any peace?

America Attacked Again
It just seems to keep coming no matter how we try to offset this stuff. How often do we attempt to help these people and give aide to them when they are in the middle of disasters? It astounds me to think of the money spent to buy crude oil from these countries which I consider very overpriced. When things like the recent attacks happen, it's from extremists who are out to keep their world in turmoil. In the process of trying to prove something isn't right they cause even more wrongs by doing their destruction. I have yet to understand they cultures from these countries as a way of life? It's not for me to say or understand, but I sure am glad that I live in America.

Go Cowboy's
Yes, is all I can say, when it comes to showing my appreciation for last night's game. Dallas went to New York and gave the Giants a game that was needed. Many were betting against the Cowboy's considering the scenario and I believe they though the Giant's would whoop some ass. Well, the Cowboy's had a thirst and went in with vigor and zest. The 24 to 17 final score was something to behold by all us Cowboy's fans. I sat through the whole games with my fingers crossed silently praying they wouldn't give it up in the 4th quarter, as many times before. It was a good game, but they still need to improve their defensive and offensive lines. Romo had to work hard last night and I'm sure Manning do as well. A good start to what we hope is a good season. Go Cowboy's.

Shark...
Oh my, did you see that huge shark that washed up on the beach along the Rhode Island/Massachusetts's borders? Theu say it looks to weight in the range of 1600 pounds. One man said it was like a huge adrenline rush just being that close to one, even though it was dead. The beaches have been closed with signs saying "No swimming", this is a precaution should other's be in the area. Reports of sharks have been seen in other area's of the eastern coastline.
They are going to see what the contents of this shark's stomach holds and try to get an idea of what may have happened to it. Report has it that there are no signs of trauma.

Misery
The people of the Gulf Coast areas are sitting in water, waiting for relief. It will be a few more days before they can get back to their homes and properties. Most of the shelters are full and this gives a very bad situation for the people as they suffer and rebuild their lives.
It seems that every year around this time, our world experiences some type of disasters, be it hurricanes, typhoon's, earthquakes or tsunami's. California has their earthquakes, and forest fires. Texas has forest fires, earthquakes, violent storms, and hurricanes. Japan and it's islands, are reeling from the last typhoon, which has left it in worse shape than the Gulf Coast people. The Philippines just experienced an earthquake and that just a few of the things our world is going through. We hope that our relief organizations can hold up with the demands they have place upon them. It's just a bad run of disaster's and they don't seem to be over with as yet.

Issac
We haven't received any bad effects from this hurricane, but Louisiana has been beat down once again. Torrential rains and high winds have reeked havoc on New Orleans and left it with high water rushing over the levees causing wide spread flooding. People have had to be evacuated from their homes in Mississippi as well. Texas missed the bad storm and that's a plus for us. While we could have used the rain, we are thankful there isn't a damaging disaster to contend with. Condolences to all the people who have been and are in the path of this storm.

Neil Armstrong Dies at 82
America's famed astronaut has left this world once again. This time he's gone on and with his passing will be sorely missed by many. He is the one who stepped down on the moon back when America was new to the "Space Age". History was made by this man, and he will go down as a great individual in American history books. Our condolences to his family, friends and many coworkers' through out the year's.

Armstrong Stripped
The news media has it showing that Lance Armstrong will not fight the allegations about his drug use during the Tour de France races. This seems to be just one more hurdle for the famed biker. He has endured cancer, divorce, grueling racing on his bikes and now he may even loose all his titles. Quite a huge fall for a popular athlete, who made a name for himself in the bike racing world. I am sorry it's come to this because the fact remains that this person actually did race and finish the grueling tracks in record time. I can only imagine the training and endurance this one person has had to experience.

Labels
Down through the years, I have worked in many different fields where I was in an office environment. I've found myself making labels, many times during that era. It's considered easier to just make a label and stick it on a box or letter. Even envelopes can be labeled. I'm not sure about the dymo 30252 product, but for more information you can click on the link in this post.
Why?
I often wonder what people get out of being so nasty during bad storms? It seems that they take please in inflicting trauma on other's during a bad storm. The idea of throwing someone out of the house into a stormy night is just basically cruel. Which I suppose, is exactly what the person doing the act is wanting to do. Being cruel, is something you do when you are very unhappy with another person. Like the breaking up a two people in a relationship. Yet, in the middle of a horrible storm, sure seems a bit dire.
Shelves
You see the Gondola Shelves all the time when you are shopping in your local stores. They are set up around the stores for the convenience of the customers looking for products and merchandise. I have used these shelves many times when stocking groceries and other products. For more information click on the link in this post.
Storms
Storms came tearing through the DFW areas last night, with thunder, lightning, wind and plenty of rain. It was a bit scary at times. The lightning was severe as was the thunder. One of those times, I jumped because it was right over head and very loud. The lightning was very bright and before I could move to put my hands over my ears, the thunder boomed real loud. When I jumped, I spilled my water glass on me. Wow, what a night as it just kept doing this most of the night.

Bulbs?
Lighting is very important to art studios as well as other properties. You can install great lighting to enhance your property's value and give you good visual effects. When you need to purchase a incandescent bulb you might consider shopping online and utilize the sales prices. Shopping online will give you convenience and the ability to do so from your office or home.
90 Days
There's so many wrong way driver's happening here in our local areas. These people are driving drunk or maybe a combination of being high on drugs and drinking. Either way they are letting their lives get away from them and running a very bad risk. The first DUI will get them 90 days suspension on their driver's license, if there's no accident, injuries or loss of life. Otherwise these people will be in dire trouble. It's just not worth it.
Slane
I went to this website and looked at the main page. This is silver jewelry and what I saw was unique to catch the younger person's whim's. You can get slane jewelry at this website and there are store listings. I noticed that there is free shipping on all orders. I didn't see whether this was a special or an on going thing.
Wonderful
All we can say about last nights storms was wonderful rain. Yes we had lightning, thunder and wind but mostly we enjoyed the cooling rain. It's been so damn hot here in Texas and with all of it, we've had to fight the mosquitos and West Nile. It's now cool but I feel the heat arriving and along with that will be the humidity.

Life
It pays to be insured with the way the economy is going, no one is safe from it. You find that shopping for insurance is a hassle. This one and that one have the best deals. You get all this mail telling you their insurance is the greatest you can get. Still you don't know for sure. Click on equote's low cost life insurance link and see the different options they give.
Old Lamp
Fireplaces
While an electric fireplace can't take the place of a real one, you can have the effects of the natural glow. I'm sure they are considered safer than the real one's as well. You can have the fun without all the cleanup later. Romance can live around an electric fireplace as well as a real one.
Mitt's Flub
Well, Mitt you done it again. But in reality what you said about Ryan, could have been a good omen. After reading his background and the way he has handled things during the last few years in Congress, I totally agree. Unfortunately, it won't be so this time. Introducing him as the next president, was a great flub, but now a bad one. I would vote for him and I'm not the only one in America. It's too bad he's the one that will be VP instead of you.

Electronic Gadgets
I suppose this means something that I haven't gotten into as yet. I wonder if Disk defrag is supposed to be different from the defrag you do when you go into your control panel and use that application? I'm not very smart when it comes to utilizing my computer programs and all the different things to be done have escaped me. I can't even get an upgrade for fear of messing something up.
Paul Ryan Mitt's Pick
Well, it's official. Looks as though Mitt has committed himself to a running mate. Sounds odd when you put it that way, doesn't it? Anyway, he's got the Wisconsin boy going along for the ride toward the top seats in America. Can they make it is the question? Ryan is noted as being a son of an attorney and a fifth generation Wisconsin native. No need to look for his birth certificate or proof of his legal status.
Cozy Up
There's always a nice place to place something for past time in your yard. I found that a nice fire pit
can make life more enjoyable when you are just wanting to lounge around. Being lazy is fun especially in front of a small fire sipping a brew. You will want to cozy up to someone while enjoying this leisure time.

Weeds?
The guy next door is mowing his yard. There isn't anything to mow because of the drought we've been having. I realize that the trees are dropping leaves on a daily basis. This could lead to clutter and cause him to want to mow. My yard looks horrible with all the falling leaves. There are plenty more on the trees to fall, so why go and mow them now. I would have to go back and mow again in 2 weeks.

Is He?
I know a girl who has two young daughter's who the question of the which one may come up. She didn't care about the fun she was having in recent years. Thinking she wasn't able to conceive, she ran around having too much fun. Now, the question pops up by local health organizations who are funding child welfare for her. An at home paternity test can be given to one of the young men, because he is in question. As for the other man possibly involved, there's no certain way to encounter him on these terms.
Gold
The USA still leads in Olympic Gold Medals. It's been a great year in London and the US is doing very well. Some of our people have brought home medals which weren't obtained for many years. Finally we produce an athlete that can bring it back to the US and once again give us the gold.

Lanyards
It was several years before I knew what a lanyard was. I always addressed them as neck straps that held certain objects. Now, I know the real name and wonder how the idea of lanyards came into being? There are different types and designs that can be bought. You can also find needs for these products in warehouses, shops and other industrial areas.
Rain
The heat has been taking it's toll on the north Texas areas, and when we got some chances for rain there wasn't much hope. I've actually seen several clouds, heard a lot of thunder and done a bunch of hoping. Still it has managed to miss our town. This morning I woke to thunder and got up to see a very cloudy morning. The humidity is horrible and I can only imagine how it will be this afternoon, when the temperatures heat up.

Jewelry
I have told my sister to start an online store for her handmade jewelry, but as yet she still hasn't gone that far. I know that there are many online stores where you can get jewelry online cheap and be able to afford many different pieces. Click on the link in this post and see what this online store can offer your taste.
Olympics
The sports world is tied up and watching the Olympics on TV. It's something to behold, just seeing the competitions unfold with all the different nations attending. You see so much culture included with all of the nations bringing their own to the games. It's a special time for the young and old competitors whom we wish well.

Bridesmaids

You can go online and shop for all different styles. The dessy bridesmaid dresses are open to your shopping needs and you can find what you are looking for. Heat
It's already starting to heat up out there and that means another hot day for us here in Texas. I have found places to go where there is nice cool air in the last few days, but it's costing my money every time I go. I wonder if it would cost me any more money for electricity to just stay home than it's cost me to go out to those places? Probably, not but at least it got me out of the house. Cabin fever was starting to hit me up side of the head.

Legal Advice
All you have to do is be in the wrong place at the wrong time, to find you suddenly have need of a lawyer. Considering the many law firm's locally there is always one willing to assist you with the case involved. Distinction is what you get with stewart esten law firm and quality attorney's that come with the office. For information about your case, contact the above firm at the link here.
Corn
It didn't take long for this to be stripped of it's bounty and the leaves. The grasshoppers took their toll on my garden and ate most of everything. I looked at my rose bushes beside my house and most of the leaves are gone from them as well. It's been a rough summer for these pests and they have really done a number on the plants.
What Else?
The plot just keeps getting thicker with information about the latest attack in Colorado. There seems to be a package sent to the University of Colorado from the person who is in jail for suspicion of the crimes. Information is being released to the news media about the contents of the package. I truly believe that this person is in plenty of trouble before he even makes it to court. Given the building evidence against him, I say "ouch!" "What a mess!"

It's part of the ever growing electronic world. Accessories have become a big part of the backup for these units. The Asus Eee Pad Transformer is just one of the things you can use and make an upgrade to your unit. You can find an online store to shop for needed items at the above link. Go to the website and see what they offer.
Crash
I know that if you are in today's electronic world then you have a PC. Many homes have several to serve more than one person. They are an essential unit in the lives of our generation. Several new gadgets have popped up to take on the jobs, and they are made smaller plus more compact. It's a never ending trend which can only escalate with time.

Football
I can only assume that this is going with the actions of people who play this game? You will notice that the fantasy football trophies are listed in such a manner. I never really got into this sort of thing, but one of my son's did for awhile. So, I suppose that it's fun trying to get the predictions correct.
Faking?
The recent attack on people in Colorado has left us to wonder what was in the perpetrator's mind? It isn't often that you see this type of thing and if the case comes out you can only wonder why, what and when these actions were meted in his mind?
Healthcare?
This is a recent comment from a person on healthcare options........
I
hate this new healthcare policy, thanks to the president I will end up
getting worse. Now they want a $389.00 per month share of cost, I only
make a little over a $1000.00 per month & household bill are over
$800.00 (that's not counting personal stuff) I wish someone would tell
me how I am going to do this. They have me on 9 pills per day, 4
different breathing meds., & Oxygen 24/7.
I really don't want to
die before I have to, without the meds & oxygen that's going to
happen. I wish the President would stick his health care up his ass or
have to go on it himself.
Sorry Just had to get this off my chest.
Going to write the the hospital & ask them if there is anyway
around this so here is praying there is.

Repairs
Recent weather disaster's have cause the need for replacement windows newport news va in the eastern state's as well as other states. I wonder how many are still without power be because of the storms that have cause damage to the power lines in these areas? Homes are still waiting for repairs and the insurance company's are working to get assessments for the people so they can make their homes livable once again.
Sadness
Our nation once again has found itself in sadness with the latest rampage cause by a lone assailant in Colorado. It has left many people dead as well as several injured. No one like to hear of these things, but it happens when we least expect it. Now, there are people who will be afraid to travel outside of their homes for entertainment. Condolences to all the families whose lives have been affected by this horrible attack.

Minors?
I believe this is a subject that will need some research by parents when they actually decide to get debit cards for minors to do needed shopping. I for one wouldn't give them the privilege of using my debit card, because the the disaster's they can cause. I suppose that you could tell them that there was only so much on the card and keep them under strict control in that manner.

You can shop for gun safes from GunSafePros.com by clicking in the link in this post.

Record Heat
We have triple digit heat once again here in the Texas areas and even further west into other states. It's always a problem that comes with Texas summers and we have in the middle of one today. It's my hope that all the small children as well as the elderly will be safe and out of danger from the heat.
Boxes
There are many reason to us a box cutter but mostly it's to open a box that's taped really tight and you need assistance to get it open. There are several sizes and designs to choose from and you may also want to decide on the sturdiness of the product. I feel that shopping for a product is better than buying on the spur of the moment.

Sage
Hollywood has logged in yet another fatality with the loss of Sage Stallone. It's so sad that these things happen, but when it's a person of interest who has a famous family member then it's more media coverage. Our hearts go out to his father and family, with the hopes that somehow they can cope and move on. Condolences to all..........
Pick Up's
You notice the ads on TV showing the Dodge Ram as one of the top leading trucks to buy. After you purchase your truck you may want to update it's interior and style. Look at the dodge ram seat covers available at the link in this post and see if maybe this is one thing you could change in your truck.
Summer in Texas
As luck would have it, we have been getting needed rain all year long. This is a great relief from the previous years when during this time we would have 100* + temperatures. This July has been cooler that last years and we are very thankful. The only problems that have been occurring are the storms, which are falling trees and making for plenty of damage to homes. Since the last winter was mild we have an onslaught of grasshoppers which are eating everything in sight. Texas always has something that is a problem, even if it's the politicians. :)

Borgnine Dies at 95
Man, we're loosing all the good one's and that's not even funny. Ernest Borgnine, known for his gruff, villainous roles such as the heavy who beats up Frank
Sinatra in "From Here to Eternity" and one of the bad guys who harrasses
Spencer Tracy in "Bad Day at Black Rock, " has died. But he was also known as the Navy officer in the television series
"McHale's Navy," which aired from 1962-66. Borgnine earned an Emmy Award
nomination at age 92 for his work on the series "ER." His laughing style will surly be missed in "Hollywood".

I say .......Politic's.....
What do you think about Obama's latest ploy to get the votes turned in his direction? I say bullshit! What a crock of crap. Here we are fighting the border in our state and now he comes up with this? What is he thinking? What do you think?

Texas Summer
The heat made its way to 98* degrees here in the local area as of yesterday. It was a hot one and I am sure it will continue to be a hot summer. Texas summer's are always hot and dry. If you get lucky as we have been lately and get a good rain, then the humidity takes over. Your in for a day of suffering if this happens. This summer has been good so far, with many days of rain, over the last few weeks. This is something we are not accustomed to, during the summer months. What a welcome it has been to get needed rain for our crops and feed for the livestock. I do believe that we are on the edge of what will be a very hot summer, because spring was very warm, leaving this indication of a hot summer.

Slings
This company is unique with it's way of handling the world's lifting problems. Not only does this company design a great sturdy lift sling they also have a good array of chains that can handle driving on ice and snow. I noticed the lifts that they make and I consider them to handle heavy duty work areas, when needed. For information, click on the above link and see more.

Enough
I've had enough and it's not even November yet. I get my fill of these political ads on TV and radio, which hones the slanderous nature of each candidate. It's full of crap and that's what it's always been full of. I see all this money being spent to get our attentions about how they will run the office of President. Bullshit is what I hear and a bunch of lies. Why haven't we been able to come up with someone who will actually run the office for the American people instead of feathering their nest with our money when they take office? I look at all the beautiful people who are going to these "White House" functions and realize that the middle class would look so out of place in their "thrift store" clothes. The same clothes that many rich people cast off in order to go and have more designed to keep up with the latest fashions. The American Way is letting down the actual people who are out here working and making an honest days living. This is a number of people who are daily dwindling, because there are no jobs. How is it that we can feel safe and sure about either candidate, we have to choose from? I say nay.........

Toys
All I can remember as I was growing up was the different toys that other children had. Mine were toys that could be afforded, but there were some I had never seen. My first sight of a yo yo came when I started elementary school. I never knew there was a chinese yoyo to be had. Mostly boys were the one's who played with yo yo's back then, anyway.

Extra Rain
Another round of storms came through the DFW over night, and again this morning another round hit. It was as before and we sure welcomed it, even though there was high winds thunder and lightning. I noticed that the winds had blown some of the corn over that is growing in my vegetable garden. I will go out and see if I can set it back up so it will survive.

Helmets
It's a good thing to have when riding a bicycle or motorcycle. A helmet is what can be the difference between severe brain damage and safety should a person become involved in a accident. Shopping for motorcycle helmets just got easier, with online stores. You can order your products, pay for them and have them shipped to your address all at one time.
Storms
Yesterday was a very hot day in Texas and yet with it came welcomed rain last night. I was very glad to have the rain because of my vegetable garden and flowers. The grass is starting to turn brown and the ground has been cracking open. Even though there were high winds, we managed to make it through the storms without a problem. I am very thankful for the wonderful rain, because the plants seem so refreshed this morning.

Graduation
This year has come and gone bringing a new set of prospective graduates the coming school year. The tradition of buying your class ring is something each student looks forward to. Rain......
Wow, it's really nice to get some much needed rain, twice in a week's time. Our local area was blessed with a good down pour of the wet stuff. It's a great thing for my vegetable garden. The plants are jumping up there with all their glory. Now, I don't have to water for a few days, and that's a plus for the water bill this month.

"America's Oldest Teenager," dies at 82
America's Oldest Teenager is gone, leaving his indelible mark on
generations of fans, and helping change rock 'n' roll and TV forever.
His signature sign-off was always "For now, Dick Clark… so long," said
with a salute. Today, generations of Americans are saluting back. Clark, whose eternally youthful look earned him the nickname "America's
Oldest Teenager", is survived by his three children and his third wife,
Keri Wigton, married to him since 1977. He credited his appearance to
good genes, once saying "if you want to stay young looking, pick your
parents very carefully."

Gas Prices.......
Gas price's have hit the all time high of $4 a gallon in most places. This leaves us consumers with a bad taste in our mouths. You can find a good choice of Gas Scooters by shopping at the website, located at the link in this post. The benefits will be outstanding, once you purchase your scooter.

Earl Scruggs Dies
Lester Flatt & Earl Scruggs were a duo for many years. Scruggs reached his highest level of fame in the 1960s when he and partner Lester Flatt recording the theme song for The Beverly Hillbillies. "Foggy Mountain Breakdown," a Scruggs instrumental was used to accentuate the violent action in the film Bonnie and Clyde. Flatt and Scruggs split in 1969, in a breakup believed to be largely due to musical differences, as Scruggs was more interested than his partner in covering contemporary material. Scruggs had been recording and touring with his own band and/or family ever since. Earl Scruggs, one of the pioneering figures of bluegrass music, died at 88.
