Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. administers the oath of office to President Barack Obama a second time in the Map Room of the White House January 21, 2009 in Washington, DC. Today was the president's first full day in office. This was done as a precaution to the idea of legal stances. So, as to be fully legal, the oath was taken again and present correctly to the President for his acceptance. I wonder if this has happened before, when they actually gave the oath once more for the legality of it?
