Only For Workers........
If worker's and companies are the only one's to benefit from this package, what about the one's who lost their jobs and the one's on fixed incomes? Is this fair to them?
Obama's proposal to stimulate the economy includes tax cuts of up to $300 billion, including $500 tax cuts for most workers and $1,000 for couples,as well as more than $100 billion for businesses, an official said. The total value of the tax cuts would be significantly higher than had been signaled earlier.
The tax cuts for individuals and couples would be similar to the rebate checks sent out last year by the Bush administration and Congress in a bid at that time to boost the slowing economy. A key difference is that the tax cuts this time around may be awarded through withholding less from worker paychecks. That provision would cost about $140-150 billion over two years.
In other words the people who don't have jobs will be left out of this package.......this is the way this wording is sounding to me..........It's not fair to fault the people who lost their jobs, and have no income to back them up with this package.
"We've got an extraordinary economic challenge ahead of us," Obama said. "We're expecting a sobering job report at the end of the week." Obama has insisted that bold and quick action is necessary if the nation is to rebound from the greatest economic crisis since the Great Depression. He has said repeatedly he wants a plan that will create 3 million new jobs. People on fixed income's haven't heard of a thing, to help them with this new package, as far as I can tell..........they need help too..........Research Diet Pills

Carrie Has A Boyfriend............
You go girl.............The former "American Idol" champ has been romantically linked to Canadian-born hockey player Mike Fisher, 28, a 6'1" center for the NHL's Ottawa Senators. Fans caught a glimpse of the 25-year-old Grammy winner on the Jumbotron "Hug Cam" at the Air Canada Centre. She was reportedly in a private VIP box, which also included the handsome hockey player's parents and his brother, Bud. Carrie also reportedly spent New Years Eve with Mike's sister, getting pedicures and being pampered at swanky spa and hair salon. It's about time she found someone for us to hound and bother......... :) I wish her all the best with her new found romance.........

Patrick Opens Up About His Fight..........
Patrick Swayze
Swayze, 56, has already has defied survival rates and reports predicting he should have "been dead a long time." Actually, many don't even make it six months, from the experiences' I've had. I've seen may live on a few months after being diagnosed. "I want to last until they find a cure, which means I'd better get a fire under it," says Swayze. Patrick says he is waging his battle against cancer "moment to moment." Now in stage-four, pancreatic cancer has severely altered his life, and may progress more quickly than previous reports suggested. He remains determined to keep busy through his struggle and has worked 12-hour days for five months last year filming his new A&E police drama, "The Beast." He admits, "You can bet that I'm going through hell and I've only seen the beginning of it." Our hearts and prayers go out to him during this time and we wish him all the best.Free Calls
