Mary Travers, a member of Peter, Paul and Mary trio that played a prominent role in the 1960's folk music revival and helped popularize the work of such artists as Bob Dylan, has died, according to media reports on September 16, 2009.

I remember growing up with the songs from this trio, and they became a part of my young music listening life.
