The Aria Resort & Casino has written to people who stayed there between June 21 and July 4 when tests showed elevated levels of Legionella bacteria in some of its guest rooms. Aria has made adjustments to its water management plans to address this issue on an ongoing basis. The Southern Nevada Health District continues to work closely with the resort on its ongoing monitoring efforts. Recent test results indicate that no detectable level of active Legionella bacteria was present in any of the locations tested.
Symptoms:: Include fever, chills, cough, fatigue and muscle aches.
People with these symptoms are urged to see their doctor's for needed attention.
