I can remember when TV stands were a table you had that you knew was sturdy enough to hold that heavy thing. Things have progressed down through the years and the TV's aren't as heavy and the tables went to entertainment centers. Now things have taken another step into the future and the  entertainment centers  have changed. These days people are making more space in their family rooms by placing TV's on the walls or more economical TV stands.
