Josef Fritzl, Pleads...........

Defendant Josef Fritzl arrives for his trial after a break at the court of law in Sankt Poelten in Austria's province of Lower Austria March 17, 2009. Fritzl, a 73-year-old Austrian who locked his daughter in a cellar for 24 years and fathered seven children with her, pleaded guilty to incest on Monday but denied murdering a newborn son who died underground. Fritzl pleaded "partially" guilty to rape -- understood to mean he is contesting the way the charge is worded -- and deprivation of liberty. I still see him as a sick, individual who needs to get what's coming to him. He said he was fully guilty of depriving the children marooned underground of their liberty. Fritzl, also pleaded innocent to a charge of enslaving his daughter Elisabeth for most of her life, according to Reuters reporters at the closed-door trial.
