Senior Cpl. Smith A police officer was shot and killed, while trying to issue a warrant for the arrest of felon. This officer was 2 days short of being with the Police Department for 18 years. He was assigned to the "Gang Unit". The Dallas City Police Department, was devastated, by this loss. Officer Norman,(43) was married to a Dallas Police officer and he and his wife had 2 children. Our prayers are with his family, friends and friends.It's been one year since this terrible tragic time, and I know that the family is still finding it hard to live through the emotions of it all.........
