And so we turn to football, and the holiday season.  It's that time of the year again, when the"COWBOYS" play on Christmas day.  ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?  Hell, yeah!  Anyway, you get the idea, and on with the show!

It seems that I have been getting a few visits from certain readers overseas.  It's ok, because this is a world wide blog, for everyone's indulgence.
To those who are following my writings on here, it is a big thanks from this writer, that I offer.  I wonder what you are interested in and if your are just following protocol, with website traffic builders?  If so, then more power to your efforts.  I hope you make a large amount of income.
I haven't and that's to be understood, since I've become lax in my efforts to write or gather information for my blogs.  I'm in a writer's blah stage and have gotten tired of it.  Maybe, I will pick back up soon.  Who knows?

Just as the flag came out a wreck happened, which may have been a factor in the race.  The driver's knew there had been a wreck and were looking for the "caution flag", but nay........it didn't happen.  I overheard the pit crew telling them to stay on the gas, which Logano did, going in for the win......

Here on top of his car,  the camera caught some of his drink he was throwing in the crowd for celebration.  Congrats Joey on a great win!

His Last Daytona

 

This will be the last Daytona for driver Jeff Gordon.  He's sitting on the pole of today's race which is fitting for this driver.  Best of luck to a great race car driver.

Another Plane Crash

Flight MH370 was reported missing from radar early Saturday, by Malaysia air traffic control.  Search teams have spotted 2 oil slicks located in the waters off the southern tip of Vietnam in the South China Sea.  So far hopes of finding survivors faded as night fell and more than 20 hours passed since the plane disappeared.
There was no "mayday" signal sent and the aircraft just vanished off radar in what seemed to be good weather.

It's That Time

Spring forward, has become a household word each spring, when March rolls around.  It's that time when we move our clocks forward to adjust to the time change implement.  Each year we are subject to these 2 changes, which occur to adjust the time usage for businesses and other world establishments.  We have to do this in order to be in line with these entities.  Don't want to be late or early for certain events. Ha!

How Do You?

I was wondering how you get there from here?  Williamsburg, VA is a place I've never been and I was wondering how I would go about finding it on these maps on the internet, when I don't have an address where I'm going?  It seems that there are many places, but this place is consider a part of our American history.  So, I would consider that there is a way to locate it on these maps other than an address.  What do you think?

Weather

It's been a back and forth thing with the weather, these days and it's frustrating to handle when one day, you wear shirt sleeves and the next a parka.  It's been one of those winter's which you don't know which or what is going to happen until it happens.  No wonder so many people are getting sick from colds and flu.  The east is getting another onslaught of bad weather, and it's not funny.  I wouldn't want to live up there, but there are some who find work there and end up staying, for the stability of a job.  Can't say I blame them, but how do you get to work on all that snow and ice?

Dale Jr. Did It

If you watched the 500 race yesterday, then you know that Dale Jr., got his second Daytona 500 win, since Dale Sr. passed away. The rain delay didn't help much, because of the 5 and a half hour wait.  Finally when the rain stopped and they got the track dry enough, the race started again.
It was a race filled with wrecks, and thankfully no one was badly injured.  A piece of black plastic got stuck on the grill of Dale's car, making it get down the track faster and helping him make the race.  On the last lap when the checkered flag was being brought out a wreck happened and the caution flag came with the checkered flag together.  In all they came down to the finish line with Dale Jr. winning hands down.

Daytona 500 has begun, the green flag is out and their off...........so, far no bad wrecks...........that's a plus.
