Life

It's come to my attention, that my life is getting out of hand.  I've gained more weight than I'm used to and that's not good for my health.  My husband, doesn't help, cause he loves me the way I am, but I still want to look as nice as I can for him, which is hard to do at my age.  You have a very hard time fixing old, and that's what I've become.  I actually lived this long and it's a good thing, with all the hell I went through.  I'm glad to be alive and somewhat healthy, still.

Years ago it was suggested that an apple a day kept the doctor away.But since all the doctors are now Muslim, I've found that a bacon sandwich works best!

Tomorrow

Two years ago tomorrow, I had my first surgery on my right eye for cataracts.  This was something scary and I really didn't like the idea of someone messing with the only pair of eyes that I have.  Because I was almost blind, it became a necessary thing to do.  For awhile everything did well, but then I started having sight problems again.  This time he had to remove scar tissue on one eye.  The other one is still waiting for help, since I only have Medicare to pay for it and 20% of the cost comes out of my pocket.  Hope my eye can wait for me to get the last one paid off?

Just as the flag came out a wreck happened, which may have been a factor in the race.  The driver's knew there had been a wreck and were looking for the "caution flag", but nay........it didn't happen.  I overheard the pit crew telling them to stay on the gas, which Logano did, going in for the win......

9 Years Old and Still...........

 

This is my cat, who will turn 10 years old in June......she still plays and has fun out in the yard.  I guess she stays healthy with the good food she demands daily?

Not Many Years Ago

If you think this looks bad, just think of what I'm thinking looking at my old fat face.  I look at how the years have taken their toll on my face and body.  Boy, what a good makeover would do for this face.  I wish I could have afforded good anti aging skin protection to help my skin.  Now, I am stuck with this mug and it's not a very pretty sight.  No wonder I can't find a nice man who wants to spend the rest of his life with me.

The Times You Dread

Have you ever felt that impending loss or failure that was just around the corner?  You could feel something bad was going to happen and it left you very unsettled.  In fact, the unknown was downright scary!
If you are alive in today's world then it gets even more scary.  It could be the weather reeking havoc; the nation attempting to dislodge our values; your health starting to slide downhill; sudden outbreak of a virus; or loosing one's job.  Each time these disasters hit you can believe that we just aren't ready.
Loosing a loved one, or finding that your life is on the rocks, is just overpowering to the human thinking.  Yet, daily we all have our crosses to bear and do so, whether it be good or bad actions.  This is a time to claim the all mighty power of our loving God.  Reaching for his strong hand during these times, can and will give us comfort and even peace. 
I'm sure you have been to the point of no return many times, as I have.  These are the hardest times to suffer through and yet with God's help, we find ourselves on the other side of the problem, looking back and hoping to never go through that again.  Having faith is one of the strongest means of surviving that I can think of.  Having your belief in God, or a supreme being is the best way to find the strength it's going to take.  You know that no matter what, you will come through the situation and be able to go forward.

She's a Pain

What this cat won't try isn't in the book.  It's trying to play with the bottle and you know what type it is.  I saw it dashing around outside after birds and ending up high in a tree.  All the yowling you could hear came off, when she decided that she was too high to come down.  Well, she finally made her way down the tree, only to jump on the window and start screaming to come inside.  When she got her way, she came in, smelled of her food and was ready to go back outside.  Darn Cat!

Another Plane Crash

Flight MH370 was reported missing from radar early Saturday, by Malaysia air traffic control.  Search teams have spotted 2 oil slicks located in the waters off the southern tip of Vietnam in the South China Sea.  So far hopes of finding survivors faded as night fell and more than 20 hours passed since the plane disappeared.
There was no "mayday" signal sent and the aircraft just vanished off radar in what seemed to be good weather.
