Hats In Race

Buy Reviews
It was Ted Cruz, then that other guy, oh yeah, Marco Rubio and now Hillary!  Well, you see how many I really listened to and now we all are sitting around waiting to see which fool, will throw their hat in, next!  I'm not ready for all this crap, are you?  It's coming and all "we the people" can do is tolerate it, while it is going on.  Here's to another election, America!

Another Plane Crash

Flight MH370 was reported missing from radar early Saturday, by Malaysia air traffic control.  Search teams have spotted 2 oil slicks located in the waters off the southern tip of Vietnam in the South China Sea.  So far hopes of finding survivors faded as night fell and more than 20 hours passed since the plane disappeared.
There was no "mayday" signal sent and the aircraft just vanished off radar in what seemed to be good weather.

Who Me?

It just hasn't happened.  Winning the lottery is not one of the things that will ever happen to me.  I'm not lucky and I may as well accept the fact.  How much money have I seen being spent of those tickets?  It's a frenzy at the lotto machines during the times of the big jackpots drawings.  I've watched money roll down the drain in a frantic attempt to be the "one"!  That big winner of the "Power Ball" would be very nice to be.  But I know better and that's just too bad.

Health

NC is just one of the many states who have been trying to get this health insurance changes mastered.  It seems that the governments of each state are looking to find ways around the Obamacare system.  I know that the North Carolina health insurance  will do everything in it's power and expertise, to get the job done right according the government rules and codes.  If you need help in understanding the new rules about health care, then click on the above link and so some research.

2014

It's here and now we start on our endeavors for the new year ahead of us.  I'm not sure of anything based on past life experiences.  So, as we go forth I can only hope for the best.  This being said, I'm sure you are thinking the same thing, for certain subjects.  Our government could use some help and it looks as though there isn't any coming soon.
The weather is about to unleash some tundra like situations, so there you have it.  Hunker down and endure.

Did You Watch?

Emily Vancamp, Gabriel Mann, Nolan, Revenge, Wedding
I sat glued to the TV last night watching this drama unfold.  It was a sight to behold, and the end of this finale has left me a bit miffed.  Daniel of all people, turned out to be the one who did the bad deed of shooting Emily.  I'm sure you know what I will be doing when "Revenge" comes back on Feb. 27th, 2014.

Happy New Year........

Let us celebrate this life of beauty and love, Forget not that even though we suffer, others suffer more. Take time to gaze upward to a night of trembling stars. And even though life's journey is not always smooth, you are a part of something greater and more wonderful. Let this fresh New Year be filled with light and love, and may you realize the dreams closest to your heart. This card was sent to me by a friend...........may you apply it to your life as well.......... Sincerely, Nita

Red Cross Helps

Dallas experienced another apartment fire around 10:30pm Monday night, which left  41 people homeless, right before the new year.  None of the residents, or the firefighters, were injured during the incident. The American Red Cross is now helping the displaced residents find temporary homes. Since Thanksgiving, the American Red Cross has helped roughly 200 people displaced by four different apartment fires.

Airlift The Only Way........

People stand in a queue to get relief food at ...
I was reading about this horrible flooding, these people are trying to endure.  It seems that the reports conclude that the only way to get help to these people is to drop supplies, by air........the reports also say that about 800,000 people are getting needed help while others still suffer.  Disease has broken out and the people aren't able to get needed help, with the flood waters still so very high.

Hatian Health Care Collapses.......

Five months after a 7.0 quake reduced much of the city to rubble, CDTI's sophisticated equipment – a CT scanner and a suite of digital X-ray machines – sits idle in the country's most modern operating rooms.
Boxes of donated medical supplies clog hallways, where in the macabre days after the quake, doctors with scalpels and saws performed dozens of guillotine amputations.
"I gave everything," Savain said. "I turned the hospital over to the Americans and some of these big NGOs [nongovernmental organizations such as the American Red Cross] because they said they had money and they would help me.
"But nobody gave me a dime."
After three months without paying his 177 employees, Savain, by Haitian law, had to make a decision: either pay up or fire them. He closed the doors March 31.Collapses
