Mardi Gras.........
Everyone loves to make their way to Louisiana during "Mardi Gras", for some old time "letting your hair down" fun. They enjoy the festivities, parades and mingling with the crowds during this season. There are many area hotels that can accommodate your visit. Certain arrangements need to be made with the french quarter hotels if you want to be where the action is. Booking ahead of time will allow you the great rooms, you desire for you vacation time. Off season booking will give you an added advantage in pricing and quieter vacation time.
Things Just Get Worse......
Haitian soldiers patrol the queue at a distribution point in Port-au-Prince. Haiti's injured earthquake victims suffered a potentially deadly setback Saturday after the US military suspended evacuation flights because of a dispute over medical care costs.
It's one thing after another, and people who are trying to help, get pushed aside with all the turmoil that is paramount during this crisis. The government is trying to keep things under control, but over wrought victims, are fighting for existence.

Chains
A car is that couldn't get traction on a small hill is pushed out of the way of traffic in Oklahoma City, Friday, Jan. 29, 2010. A winter storm knocked out power to thousands of homes and businesses and stranded travelers across Oklahoma.
I believe that if you have to get out in this stuff, then it would be smart to buy a pair of chains for your vehicle. It's possible to get better traction, when a vehicle has chains installed on the wheels.
Buying for Spring......
Spring is on the way and buying for you outdoor patio furniture is best to do when the season is cold. The stores have sales during this time and it's best to get a good deal on those outdoor cushions that need to be replaced. The weather here in Texas is extremely harsh on outdoor furniture, and the cushions fade, plus get soaked from all the storms we have. Animals tend to give cushions a test as well, when they decide to play with them.
Ice Storms......
A bird sits on the ice covered rails of a bridge in Oklahoma City, Friday, Jan. 29, 2010. A winter storm knocked out power to thousands of homes and businesses and stranded travelers across Oklahoma. We didn't get it as bad here in Texas, but it's still very cold outside.........
A Formal Affair.........
Getting to the church on time, is easy compared to the other things that need to be done. You most certainly have to make sure the tuxedo is ready and properly fit. Your bride has chosen her colors and you may not like wearing that color, but it's only for one day, and then your free. I find that the brides don't realize what they are doing when they choose their colors, and this is very frustrating for some of the bridal attendants.

Terrible Distress........
A crowd of Haitians desperately try to enter a ministry building where aid was being distributed in Port-au-Prince on January 28. Haiti's quake survivors faced rising insecurity with thousands of criminals on the loose and reports of rape and violence plaguing the weak and vulnerable.
I cannot fathom the depth of despair these people must be going through. The fear of not having proper food, water, clothing and shelter remains days after the first quake. My only hope is that these people can come to some sort of equality and live with each other in a more safe and controlling manner.

Two New Tremors........
Port-au-Prince was rattled by two new earth tremors, two weeks after the deadly earthquake that killed at least 150,000 people, scaring a weary and destitute people from their improvised beds in makeshift camps. Exhausted by a stream of daily aftershocks since the devastating 7.0-magnitude quake on January 12, Haiti survivors are still reluctant to relocate.

US paratroopers from the 82nd airborne unload aid at a makeshift camp in Port-au-Prince on January 25. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Tuesday staunchly defended the American response to Haiti's earthquake, lashing out at foreign critics and calling the US military vital to the relief effort.

Mud flows between houses and into the street in an evacuated neighborhood in La Canada Flintridge, California. Torrential rain and strong winds pummeled California for a fourth consecutive day Thursday as officials warned of tornados, flash floods and mudslides in areas ravaged by last year's wildfires.
Insurance Needs.......
Have you noticed how high it is to get born or die? The insurance companies have many different package deals to offer and if you want to make sure there's plenty of coverage then you have to invest. Cremation is the option for many people, since life insurance wasn't in effect when the person passed away. Families deal with the loss but have to afford the best out of pocket expenses that they can. Coverage for life insurance is possible, if you want to take the time to shop for it.
Edwards Admits.......
John Edwards has finally come forward to admit that he is the father of a child born to a videographer he hired before his second White House bid. "It was wrong for me to ever deny she was my daughter," he said Thursday. "I have been providing financial support for Quinn and have reached an agreement with her mother to continue providing support in the future," the statement said. "To all those I have disappointed and hurt, these words will never be enough, but I am truly sorry."

Gamble Online
I can remember when it was considered a great vacation to be able to go to Vegas, and gamble. You would either drive or book a flight and spend the weekend at one of the large casinos. It was a grand time, if you came away with winnings, but many times people left without a cent.
Later other states legalized gambling, and you found places closer to home to go and gamble. It has become a lucrative establishment for many states and local business owners. You find that some of the Indian Reservations also have established a good business in the gambling world.
Now, we have an even better way of gambling right in your own home. All you need is a computer, a bank account and knowledge of how to download files and your on your way. Once you download an online casino you will need to register for an account with the website. Most of the online gambling
casinos are established an of good reputation. Make sure to check out the website and it's reviews, before investing money into your account.
Once you have your account set up, then you can deposit certain amounts of money into your account with which to make bets. Most of the time the website will make you deposit and that makes you have more money to play with. I have tried it, but I'm just a novice and would loose my money to the people who are really good at playing the games. Spending your time gambling online is fun, and if your good at the games, then it's for sure you will be a winner. Winning whets my appetite and makes me want to go to an
online casino gambling casino more often. Alas, my money isn't what is needed to keep up with the "big boys", so I have to play when it's available.
If you have a flair for gambling and enjoy the competition that's involved, then this is a great place to join. I suggest that you get into a game that your comfortable with and get started with the winning. My son, loves these online casinos, and you can be sure that he's on one of them if he's not at work. It's a good way to pass the time, enjoy yourself, and win some money. Pay outs are great too.

When looking for possible help for your acne, I suggest consulting your doctor, for information about the best acne treatments to use on your skin. It's possible you can get topical ointments, but sometimes it take other more professional interventions. A clinic for skin care can assist you in finding the benefits you need for your skin. Treating your skin can help remove scars and blemishes.

Tazorac
My son, has been needing a good cream for his horrible acne. It seems that most of the products on the market, need prescriptions and with good reason. You must not use a medicated cream, unless you consult your doctor, because of the side effects that can be involved. The reviews on tazorac cream suggest a strong indication that side effects are truly a result of using this ointment. Make sure to consult your doctor and get his instructions, about the way your body will react to the cream.
HGH
This is a supplement that is known for it's help in giving the extra benefits to the human body. It is said that hgh supplements can help rejuvenate the human body, so it can heal itself better, plus have more energy. I knew a lady that took it and she actually swore by this product. I tried it a few times, but I was too lazy to keep up with the added things to remember to do. It's supposed to help your mental stability as well, but I guess I was too caught up in the world around me.
Diets...
A way of life has emerged, with dieting and weight loss. The new media along with the fashion world have exploited the human race. It's necessary to look good as well as be healthy. I found that happiness comes from within, but that the fat that's packed around the middle can cause very bad health. The best way to combat extra weight is to get on a good diet and exercise program. That alone will not help unless you can find one of the
best diet supplements to aide with mineral and vitamin loss. The body needs certain minerals and vitamins, to sustain a good balance nutritionally.

Car Insurance........
I wonder if the government, will find a way to involve itself in the vehicle insurance industry. It seems there are plenty of injuries, involved with vehicle accidents. There are even outstanding amounts of fatalities, that happen each year. If the government is controlling the healthcare for us, I wonder if they will also be able to get cheaper car insurance for us? I think it's something to investigate, and believe that we may well see this in the future.
Go CowBoy's........
Tony Romo broke open a scoreless game with five straight scoring drives in the second quarter, sending Dallas past Philadelphia 34-14 Saturday night for the Cowboys' first playoff victory since 1996. And the way the Cowboys have played over the last four games — all wins, behind dominating defense and efficient offense — they could be sticking around a while this postseason. The Eagles are done in the playoffs for the first time under coach Andy Reid.

Flea Markets
I'm one of those people who, likes to go to flea markets or auctions. It's so much fun browsing the different items they have on display. These people rent booths or spots around the grounds of the flea markets, and set up their display showcases with all their wares, available. I find that a good display, tends to bring more customers, and follow up sales. If they vendor just puts a bunch of things down on the ground, I may or may not look at them. It all depends if I see something that I'm really looking for. Depending upon the size, shape and condition of the item, I will decide if it's worth the price they are asking and try to bargain with them.
Sometimes I see things that I can use around the house and if a good price is attached, then I will buy it.
I also noticed that fruit and vegetable vendors, manage to set up a good display of their items. This is especially nice to see, since many people love to get fresh veggies and fruit, in bulk and the price's are affordable as well.

Are You Ready?
It's here and there's nothing you or I can do about it. Another new year to face, whatever may come our way. Lives of certain people will be torn to shreds, while others will face enormous fame, fortune and happiness. I am holding my breath over certain situations around our world and the nation in which I live. America, is not like by many other nations, and it's a scary situation, to live in a country that terrorists are trying to destroy. I hope we can hold on and keep the faith. The government needs a lot of help as well, so I've got my hopes strong for a turn around in the way things are being handled.

I marched in this parade back in 1960-61 and still have my bronze medallion in the jewelry box.
Want Beautiful Hair......
I would love to have that long beautiful shiny hair, that most models have. My hair is naturally curly and it breaks real easy. I have to use an anti frizz solution, to keep it from having too much damage. If I could find a good supplement to help it grow strong and healthy, the I would buy a good supply of hair supplements to maintain my hair. I could use some help with my skin, and the age lines that are showing. I would love to find a good product for that problem as well.
