Space Shuttle in Ft. Worth, TX
Another rare sight is the space shuttle in the DFW area.
The Space Shuttle (Endeavor) atop the airliner as it lands in Ft. Worth, TX, to stay over night, then making it's way on to the Kennedy Space Center in Florida, for some much needed revamping.

The Space Shuttle as it taxis on the run way at the Naval Air Station in Ft. Worth, TX for an overnight stay, because of weather. The cost of transporting the shuttle on the 747, is over $2,000,000.
