Blogging

It is certain that by now you have figured out this is a blog.  I have gotten so behind with one of my website's and now am having to play catch up.  If you are a fairly good writer, then the work will come in, should you apply for it.  Lately, I've been lax in my writing and have been letting my work slide.  I must get back in the swing of things and do my work, because it's very easy to get lazy and just play around on the games.

Coming Back.........

The drug called  "Whip It's" is coming back into the picture.  It seems that since this can be obtained so easily, there are many people buying the canisters to get a fast high or use at a local party.  Many young people think it's great to use this product in fun at parties.  There have been deaths attributed to this usage and it's not without saying that any drug can cause death when used improperly.  Parents can't always know what drugs are becoming accessible or popular and when they try to coach their children many unknown drugs can be unnamed.  It's a constant vigil to alert your teens and young people about the horror stories.  I've watched 3 of my children destroy their lives because of over use.  I don't want to see any other parents go through the things I've been through.  I've been lucky that none of mine have died, but still their lives are ruined.

My husband and I had been successfully operating our small business from our hometown for 15 years. I personally was content with the way things were. I consistently knew how to handle our IP issues and I kept things running smoothly. It was a complete surprise when my husband suggested to me we open another office in a centrally located retail space a friend of ours owned. People

There are some people in the world who are nice and good.  You also have the one's who are assholes.  They try to get the attentions of people by doing things that are really nice and then turn a back stab you when you aren't looking.  I can't imagine why it's considered the right thing to do?  But it's done, on a daily basis and there's not much one can do about it, except try to stay away from those type of people.

Isn't it a bitch to try and get a picture and something like this happens?  I hate to miss when I take pictures.  The sun was blinding me and I couldn't see the digital screen.

Pool

It's time to get that pool ready for the summer fun.  You will need your supplies as well as new equipment to update the old stuff used last year.  It's a good idea to have  pool barriers  for the younger children to know when they've gone too far.  You don't want any children in your pool without supervision.  Drowning is very common with small children.  The above link will give you an idea of what you need before the summer arrives.

Iris's

These lovely blooms grace my yard and it's very nice to see which ones are the prettiest.  I wasn't sure which one's were which, because this is my first spring at the house.  I am waiting on the others to open so I can see where each color is located, then I will pull some up for my sister to plant in her yard.

Gas Prices

I noticed that the gas price's in our area came down one or two cents this last few days.  I wonder if this is just a gas bump aiming at the dealer's nearby, in order to snatch customers for the day?  This is the way that businesses do when they need to get rid of the cheaper gas in order to buy the next load of gas and get the higher price's set in place.  It also puts pressure on the local dealers to bring down their price's to keep in line with the one who dropped theirs.  We as customer's need all the help we can get, with the way everything has jumped in price.

High Winds

 

I always know that when we are having high winds, there's no need to go out and set the swing back up.  It's always smart to just leave it, until the winds have calmed down.  Some weeks we are pushing through the wind just to make it into the stores or to our cars.  Have you noticed how fast your car uses that expensive gas when you are driving against high winds?

Water Standing

 

As you can tell there is still water standing in my vegetable garden, from all the rain we received.  I'm unable to get in it and remove the weeds which are enjoying the company.  It's a real mess and there are still some vegetables waiting to be planted for the season.

Rain

 

This is just some of the areas in my yard blessed by the recent rains.  Called it blessed because of the drought Texas had last year, and you will be understood.  Otherwise you will be considered crazy saying it's a blessing.  The storms gave us the much needed rain and high winds.  My vegetable garden will have a problem if I can't get into it to get rid of the weeds that are coming up.
