Senor Blacky

In this picture he looks much better than he did in the last few weeks.............Alas........he is no more...........The name "Senor Blacky" came from my spouse, who is part Mexican and speaks Spanish fluently. Blacky caught a car during the night, and when I looked out my front door this morning, his body was lying in the street...........his spirit gone...........Blacky was a stray that came to our yard last year and.........we started feeding him...............after our cat came up missing.......we tried to house break Blacky but he didn't go for it, so we had to leave him outside.........he caught a bad cold and we tried to nourish him as best we could but it wasn't to be.........lately he could be seen all crouched up trying to stay warm.......and I suppose the cold got to him and he must have been going across the street when a car hit him.......he will be missed sitting in the yard waiting for us to come home and feed him.............

Need Tax Help?

The time is upon us and we are gearing up to do our 2008 taxes. Like me, there are many, who are still waiting for their W-4's or 1099's. I've made sure that all the different places, I've worked have the right address and social security number. Now, the waiting begins and it seems to take forever for these places to send them. I'm glad that I don't live in a state where you have to file state taxes. Once I live in Oklahoma and had to file them along with the regular taxes. I had to find state income tax help because I didn't have the knowledge to file it correctly. I'm glad that I don't own a business, because I would have to file a 941 which is a employee withholding tax. The IRS IRS 941 is imposed and due each quarter but if not paid, penalties and interest will be added to the tax owed. If you do not make arrangements and let your taxes go ignored. They will close down your business and take all the property, which will be sold for the taxes owed. There's also a problem of being with a spouse that hasn't quite told you the truth about their tax situation. The IRS innocent spouse can be filed if you can prove that you had no knowledge of the misfiled tax. DTV Delaying?

They are now sending out new coupons only as older, unredeemed ones expire and free up more money. I bought mine back when the coupons were first issued and when the time is right, I will set them up.

My First Cup

No matter how closed my eyes are in the mornings, I manage to make my way to the kitchen and put on that first pot of coffee, before anything else. Oh, well I do put on some form of clothing before going in there, but coffee is my foremost subject when I wake up. Got to have that first cup of coffee to open my eyes properly. Once I get that first taste, then it's as if I'm ready for the day. Just as long as it's sitting close by for a sip ever few minutes.

A Good Book.

When was the last time you read a good book? I have to admit it's been quite awhile. I once was into reading, but would get so into the book that it was hard to put it down to do daily chores. It seemed that curling up with a good book would take me off into a different world and I was living that life, along with the one's written about in the books. I had to pull myself out of the books and back into the real world...........a hard thing to do.
