Water Pond.........

I've been wanting to have a small pond installed in my yard, to put goldfish in. I've hesitated, because of the weather, and my finances have held me back as well. This website I found has all the different supplies to help you get started and maintain your pond. Not only do the offer you the pond supplies for a small pond, but they also have larger scale supplies, that can service your farm pond, or aeration of a small lake area. Fountains always look so lovely in the middle of a pond or lagoon. I would hope I could have a small one, that would aerate my goldfish pond.

Roadside Bombs......

US Marines search for roadside bombs in Afghanistan's Helmand province on July 13. Several years back I worked at a local company that built metal detectors. Back then they were made to use looking for coins or pipes in the ground. I truly believe that this is a better use for these detectors, if they can save our soldiers lives.

Walter Conkrite Dies at 92......

Former CBS anchorman Walter Cronkite, whose authoritative delivery of news events from the John F. Kennedy assassination to the Apollo moon landing and Vietnam War, made him "the most trusted man in America," died in New York on July 17, 2009 at age 92.

New Sanctions.........

There was international condemnation after North Korea fired a Unha-2 rocket in April 2009. The South Korean cable news channel YTN has reported that North Korean leader Kim Jong-Il has cancer and may not live more than five years.

A U.N. Security Council panel imposed new sanctions Thursday against North Korean officials and companies aimed at curbing the nation's nuclear defiance. The designations need no further approval and are effective immediately. The panel banned nations from selling North Korea two types of goods used in ballistic missile parts: graphite designed or specified for use in electrical discharge machining; and para-aramid fiber, filament and tape, which is a Kevlar-like material.

Britain's People Speak Out.........

The American people have done this type of thing time and time again. I wonder if they will accomplish anymore than the American's did? No one wants lives to be wasted. It's a term of war that all people throughout the world have come to acknowledge.

Who Controls Who.........

If you've ever wondered who's in control, you or your cat, a new study points to the obvious. It's your cat.

Household cats exercise this control with a certain type of urgent-sounding, high-pitched meow, according to the findings.

This meow is actually a purr mixed with a high-pitched cry. While people usually think of cat purring as a sign of happiness, some cats make this purr-cry sound when they want to be fed. The study showed that humans find these mixed calls annoying and difficult to ignore.

This is my pain in the backside, and he definitely knows how to push his weight around, where I'm concerned. I really do alot of chasing and scolding to this little imp. He trys his very best and gets right up under my skin.

In death he was mourned as a good guy, and it is said that he did more good than bad. His wife Michelle, did not allow the news to take pictures of the family. Asking that they be left to deal with this tragedy in peace. Weight Loss Man vs Woman

They say that weight problems are mostly a woman's
heredity or thing. There are more articles that
contradict that idea and suggest that there are
as many obese men as women.  The weight loss site

There are several factors that undoubtedly account

accurate in assessing the status of their weight.
Men’s ability to assess their weight status is less
finely tuned than women’s. Our society values
thinness in women and it's no secret that there
aren't many magazines show over weight women at
popular. We know that being underweight also carries
health risks. A woman who is already at a healthy
weight may feel the need to lose weight.  This
isn't necessarily so,according to some doctor's.
This is particularly true for young and middle-aged
women, who are often more likely to consider
themselves overweight even when their weight is
within the recommended range. In other words men
don't consider themselves obese when women look
at themselves at fat.

Bodies Wash Ashore........

Police officers and local officials transfer a body believed to be that of a passenger aboard the Yemenia Airbus 310-300 onto a vehicle on Mafia island July 8, 2009. Tanzanian authorities have spotted some 13 bodies believed to be from the Yemeni airliner that crashed into the sea off the Indian Ocean archipelago of Comoros last week, an official said on Tuesday. Thirteen bodies, a plane seat and a piece of metal stamped "Airbus" washed ashore in Tanzania and French investigators were trying to determine Wednesday if they were linked to the Yemenia Airways plane crash hundreds of miles away.

Ephedra

Who Cares?

I've lived through this crap, many times and I still can't see how they can forget all the things that this person did? If child molestation is not a crime, then I don't know what is. It's just like OJ getting away with his crime for so many years. Sooner or later your sins will find you out........that's just the way life is........what goes around comes around! If you do wrong, it surly will come back to haunt you. I can't prove that Jackson did this crime, but where's there's smoke there usually fire. Good lawyers can only do so much..........I was wondering how he slept at night..........now we know!

Karl Malden Dies

Oscar-winning actor Karl Malden, seen here in 2004, has died. Malden was known for his distinctive nose and roles opposite Marlon Brando in "A Streetcar Named Desire" and "On The Waterfront". Also gaining TV fame as a leading man in "The Streets of San Francisco," died on Wednesday at age 97. So long Karl, you will be missed by all who loved your work and by your family and friends.

Honduras Starting Another Mess
