A massive tsunami sweeps in to engulf a residential area after a powerful earthquake in Natori, Miyagi Prefecture in northeastern Japan March 11, 2011. I have a friend that's stationed at a military base on one of the islands over in that area. I've sent him an email in hopes that it finds him safe and well. I know that this is going to be another horrible disaster like the other quake's that's been happening in this region.
The area office of the Red Cross has sent out a call to activation for the disaster, and setting up a call center in one of our local towns.
