Bush Library

 So, there they are, in all their glory.  The five living Presidents of the USA.  They are here for the formal opening of the George W. Bush Library, on the SMU campus in Dallas, TX.  High security is in place to protect our President's and their families.  Congrats to George W. &  Laura on this fine spring day.

Spring is Here

It certainly is spring and with it comes these beauties that grace my front flower beds.  Mom, planted them several years back and they are thriving well.  I've ven had enough to give starts to my sister for her yard.

I haven't had the chance to check out this link.  I will however see what it is about when I have a few minutes.  I like to make new blogs and will try the   make free website for free  to see if it is feasible to what I need in the future. Rain

North Texans woke up to loud thunder and heavy rain this morning.  Lightning was bright at times and the rain just kept pouring.  It's 8:30am and the rain is light but still making for a dreary day.  I have plans with my sister but they may not be as fun as we hoped.

Sad

I've seen all types of people, but this takes the cake.  It's as if the whole world has gone crazy.  Killing innocent people is outrageous and plain mean. What are these idiots proving?  This isn't about control, it's about being cruel and mean.  So, now what area of our USA do we have to worry about next?

Congrats

The Bush family have a new addition.  Jenna Bush Hager gave birth to a baby girl on Saturday.  As you know this is considered to be the first grand child of George W and Laura Bush.  We congratulate the family on the new baby.

Storms in Texas

We have experienced moderate storms over the north central areas of Texas, this morning.  Lightning struck close a few minutes ago, knocking off the power for a few seconds.  Just enough time to throw off the digital clocks and this damn computer.  So, now I have to reset the clocks, and have rebooted the computer.  It has been pouring rain for the last hour, and now seems to be dissipating somewhat.  Errands I had planned for today are on hold until things get better.

Good Memories

You meet family or friends for a great time at someone's home.  It may be that there's a holiday to be enjoyed.  Good socializing can bring a quality to life that you sometimes forget.  The men will wander off to their own areas and share stories, drinks and special  cigars  bought by the one who knows them best.  Each member of the group will put in their own treats as the day wears on.

Sunny Day

It's a beautiful sunny day here in Texas and we are promised to have nice temps.  The wind is sort of high but it could prove to be a good day anyway.  I got up to the birds singing and the cat meowing wanting in to be fed.  So, I made the morning coffee and put her some food down.  Then I walked outside to enjoy what has already become a day of laziness.  There are a couple of spring flowers blooming out front which gives color to the green grass needing mowed.
