Toys

All I can remember as I was growing up was the different toys that other children had.  Mine were toys that could be afforded, but there were some I had never seen.  My first sight of a yo yo came when I started elementary school.  I never knew there was a  chinese yoyo  to be had.  Mostly boys were the one's who played with yo yo's back then, anyway.

Extra Rain

Another round of storms came through the DFW over night, and again this morning another round hit.  It was as before and we sure welcomed it, even though there was high winds thunder and lightning.  I noticed that the winds had blown some of the corn over that is growing in my vegetable garden.  I will go out and see if I can set it back up so it will survive.

Helmets

Storms

Yesterday was a very hot day in Texas and yet with it came welcomed rain last night.  I was very glad to have the rain because of my vegetable garden and flowers.  The grass is starting to turn brown and the ground has been cracking open.  Even though there were high winds, we managed to make it through the storms without a problem.  I am very thankful for the wonderful rain, because the plants seem so refreshed this morning.

Graduation

This year has come and gone bringing a new set of prospective graduates the coming school year.  The tradition of buying your class ring  is something each student looks forward to.  There are different designs that can be obtained with the school logo embedded around the stone.  Sometimes a ring can go without a stone.  It's an option which many choose.

Time for Hillary

Yes, I'm talking about the need for her to get her butt in gear and start campaigning for the presidency.  There's a good bet she could take it, if she gets in there and runs.  The time is right and she has the backing of many American people........... GO FOR IT HILLARY!

Rain......

Wow, it's really nice to get some much needed rain, twice in a week's time.  Our local area was blessed with a good down pour of the wet stuff.  It's a great thing for my vegetable garden.  The plants are jumping up there with all their glory.  Now, I don't have to water for a few days, and that's a plus for the water bill this month.
