More Snow

The DFW area started getting snow late yesterday afternoon and on into the evening hours.  The wind howled all day, bring temperatures down in a hurry.  They kept howling all night and are still howling this morning, with no signs of letting up anytime soon.  I've had my heater turned up to keep warm.   This picture is taken from my apartment window and that is my car below.

Volcano in Iceland

A volcano erupted near a glacier in southern Iceland, shooting ash and molten lava into the air and forcing the evacuation Sunday of hundreds of people from nearby villages. There were no immediate reports of injuries or damage but a state of emergency was declared and scientists feared the eruption could trigger a larger and potentially more dangerous eruption at the Katla volcano.  They are concerned that it could trigger an eruption at the nearby Katla volcano, a vicious volcano that could cause both local and global damage.
Authorities evacuated 450 people between the farming village of Hvolsvollur and the fishing village of Vik, some 100 miles southeast of the capital, Reykjavik.  Evacuation centers were set up near the town of Hella. The most immediate threat was to livestock because of the caustic gases.

Signs of Aging........

Are you trying to combat the signs of aging with certain types of wrinkle creams  and finding that they just aren't doing the job?  I noticed that there are many on the market and it's very hard to choose which PH is best for your skin's surface.  I have "crows feet" around my eyes, and the skin is starting to sag, with my age.  I guess I need to go to a good counselor and get evaluated for a certain treatment.

Wrinkles

I don't like getting old, but it's better than the alternative.  I guess I should believe that I'm am blessed that I have lived this long.  I do appreciate the fact that I'm still alive and kicking.  I guess a good  anti wrinkle cream
might help this face, but it's going to take a good one.  This face truly needs a lot of help and it would take a miracle or surgery to fix it's age spots.  For more information click on the above link to find reviews on certain products.

Immigration.......

Grass-roots activists are frustrated by the wait for a new system and are organizing a rally Sunday on the National Mall by what they hope will be thousands of people from across the country loudly voicing their displeasure at the pace of action.  Obama sought to assure activists and senators who are drafting a bill of his "unwavering" commitment to comprehensive immigration changes. But that same day, the White House also signaled that the issue is not on its priority list for action before the entire House and one-third of the Senate face voters in November.

Do You Use........

I've never caught myself making this effort on a daily basis.  There are many people who use a night cream, and doing it regularly.  I guess I was too lazy, to do this beauty treatment, and more involved in just living life.  Many ladies and men have a beauty resume that they do before going to bed in the evenings.  They incorporate the best night cream  they can find for the price.  It's part of their skin treatment and they feel it's necessary to keep their skin supple and soft.

The Manly Thing....

It's been known down through the ages, that with time our bodies, find a way of slowly digressing.  It's a terrible thing to loose your ability to enjoy a private time with your spouse of partner.  The doctor's have suggested several different ways to help with the problems.  They have you consider using a testosterone cream to help with the effects of ebbing testosterone levels.  In today's world, there are many products to assist or aide with the problems of aging.  Click on the above link for more information.

Flooding Expected.........

With truckloads of sandbags rolling into cities like Fargo, N.D. and Moorhead, Minn., the government confirmed residents' fears Tuesday, forecasting major flooding in the Midwest following a wetter than normal winter.  As the spring thaw melts the snowpack, saturated and frozen ground in the Midwest will exacerbate the flooding of the flat terrain and feed rising rivers and streams.  Flooding is expected along the Raccoon, Des Moines, James and Red rivers of the North.  El Nino, a periodic warming of the tropical Pacific Ocean can affect weather worldwide. It is expected to continue at least through spring.

Employment

It's still a crucial battle, out there when looking for a job.  The economy has stepped on our finances and left us with little to do but fight like cats and dogs to get an opening sort after by thousands.  Employers have a huge list to choose from and sometimes it's hard to make a good decision.  Many jobs are exclusive and this leaves out the blue collar worker.  Plenty of people who were involved in good income jobs before the economy slumped, are now on the streets or in shelters.

It just keeps happening, these people think they are immune to this type of problem, and let it take control and overwhelm their lives. The result becomes this and it's very sad that they can't see what's happening to themselves.

Spirometer........

Just like me I'm sure you asking, exactly what is a  spirometer  and it's functions?  I saw one once and didn't even realize what the name of the unit was.  I now know that it has to do with the functions of a patients lungs.  In other words, is can measure the rate at which a person's lungs are functioning, in comparison to a healthy person's lungs.  There are several types of units, that can be obtained, considering the price range and the amenities the units have.

Invest in Gold Coins

They tell us that gold value is on the rise once again.  Even though the economy is still floundering, there seems to be a surge due to the fact that another country's dollar value is in competition with the US dollar.  So with that said, it looks to be a lucrative year for the gold buying citizens, who want to invest.  I'm sure many of you have invested in some form of substantial properties that will return profits at a later time.  It's become very hard for some people to do this with the economy the way it is.  Many who had plenty of stock and such before this problem hit, have now had to liquidate and use up their resources.
Since the market on gold is rising once again, it would be a good time to  buy gold coins  and make sure to get a good investment on your precious metals.  I found many places that deal in precious metals, but they seem to be having hard times as well.  You can go online to this link above and find a good company with many years of service in providing precious metals.  Considering the price of a $50. gold piece, you will want to find a good minted coin to invest in.

Taiwan Has Earthquake.....

A powerful 6.4-magnitude earthquake rocked southern Taiwan on Thursday morning causing buildings to sway hundreds of miles to the north. Local news reports said at least one person was injured.  Residents in Taipei could feel buildings shake, and the quake caused power outages. The island's high-speed rail service was suspended.
My, my, it makes you wonder, what's going to happen next.  Is the whole world going to implode?  I'm really worried, that we will have one in our area........there have been some just a few miles down the road from here......so, we sit and wonder about it happening to us as well.....
